Oh my, we’ve used the same phrase “early morning dew” – first thing that came to mind as I thought of today’s prompt.
Like the imagery you created, your haiku sounds refreshing!

Thank you, I am really new to this. I liked all 3 of your Haiku, particularly the last one. I did not see a place on your blog to like or comment though?

Oh thank you too for your appreciation of my 3 haikus. The place where you can post comment is below my post.
Just keep on writing…I sense you have a flair for poetry! Cheers!

This is really beautiful – you’ve created an entire image in so few words.

Thank you so much. I love poetry, I just haven’t wrote it often myself. I’m looking forward to learning from this class, and everyone in it.

Me too. I’m really looking forward to the sonnets (assuming we do them). I have written one sonnet in the form Shakespeare used and it was so hard – but the result was definitely worth the effort! Good luck in your poetry writing 🙂

I really enjoyed the last-minute introduction of the simile — it really gives this richer emotional depth to the image you create in the first two lines.

Aww…But poetry is open to interpretation. They could be tears of joy upon the cheek.
